Harda is a district located in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is situated in the Narmadapuram division and lies on the southern bank of the Narmada River. The district headquarters is also named Harda.

Harda district covers an area of approximately 2,942 square kilometers and is bordered by the districts of Hoshangabad to the north, Khandwa to the west, Betul to the south, and Dewas to the east. The region is primarily rural, with agriculture being the main occupation of the local population.
