Kadapa, officially known as YSR Kadapa district, is a district located in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. It is situated in the Rayalaseema region of the state. The district's administrative headquarters is the city of Kadapa.

Kadapa district is bordered by the districts of Kurnool and Prakasam in the north, Nellore district in the east, and Chittoor district in the south. The district has a diverse topography, with the eastern side being predominantly plain and the western side consisting of hills and forests. The Penna River flows through the district, providing irrigation to the agricultural lands.
