Kozhikode, also known as Calicut, is a district located in the southern Indian state of Kerala. It is situated on the Malabar Coast and is known for its historical significance, natural beauty, and cultural heritage.

Kozhikode district is bordered by the Arabian Sea on the west and shares boundaries with Wayanad district to the east, Malappuram district to the north, and Kannur district to the northwest. The district covers an area of approximately 2,345 square kilometers and has a population of around 3.5 million people.
