Nayagarh district is located in the state of Odisha, India. It is situated in the eastern part of the country and is known for its rich cultural heritage and natural beauty. The district headquarters is Nayagarh town.

Nayagarh district covers an area of approximately 3,890 square kilometers and is bordered by Angul district to the north, Kandhamal district to the south, Boudh district to the west, and Ganjam and Khordha districts to the east. The district is divided into 11 blocks and consists of several towns and villages.
