Panipat is a district located in the state of Haryana, India. It is situated in the northern part of the state and is approximately 90 kilometers north of the capital city, Delhi. Panipat is famous for being the site of three major battles that took place in the region. These battles, known as the First Battle of Panipat in 1526, the Second Battle of Panipat in 1556, and the Third Battle of Panipat in 1761, played crucial roles in shaping the course of Indian history.
