Parvathipuram Manyam

Parvathipuram Manyam is a district in the northern coastal plains of Andhra Pradesh, India, formed on April 4, 2022. The district headquarters is situated in the town of Parvathipuram. It was carved out from parts of the Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts.
The district covers an area with 16 revenue mandals, 3 towns, and 993 villages, and has a significant Scheduled Tribes population, mainly residing in mandals such as Kurupam, G.L. Puram, Parvathipuram, Komarada, and Pachipenta. Geographically, it lies between latitudes 17°15' and 19°15'N and longitudes 83°00' and 83°45'E.
It is bounded by Srikakulam district to the east, Vizianagaram district to the south, Visakhapatnam district to the southwest, and Odisha state to the northwest. The terrain consists of typical northern coastal plain features with important rivers and reservoirs supporting agriculture.
