Phek district is located in the state of Nagaland in northeastern India. It is one of the eleven districts of Nagaland and is situated in the eastern part of the state. The district headquarters is in the town of Phek.

Phek district is known for its picturesque landscapes, lush green forests, and rich biodiversity. It is inhabited by various Naga tribes, including the Chakhesang, Pochury and Kuki tribes. These tribes have their unique cultures, traditions and languages.
