Shahdara is a district located in the eastern part of Delhi, India. It is bordered by the Yamuna river to the east and is one of the oldest inhabited areas of Delhi. The district is divided into three subdivisions - Shahdara, Seemapuri, and Vivek Vihar.
Shahdara is known for its rich history and cultural heritage. It was once a major center of trade and commerce, and many historical buildings and monuments can still be found in the area. One such monument is the Shahdara Bara Dari, a palace built by the Mughal emperor Akbar in the 16th century.
