Tirap District is a district located in the northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh, India. It is situated in the eastern part of the state and shares borders with Myanmar (Burma) to the east. The district is surrounded by other districts of Arunachal Pradesh, namely Changlang District to the south, Longding District to the west, and Dibrugarh District of Assam to the north.
Tirap District is known for its picturesque landscapes and rich cultural heritage. The terrain is mostly hilly and mountainous, with dense forests covering a significant portion of the district. The major rivers flowing through the district include the Tirap, Namphuk, and Khela rivers.
