Fambong Lho Wildlife Sanctuary is a 51 km² protected area in Gangtok district, Sikkim, located 30 km west of Gangtok. It is contiguous with Khangchendzonga National Park and is managed by the State Forest Department.
The sanctuary is home to small hamlets like Dikchu, Pangthang, and Mangan. The sanctuary's elevation ranges from 1,524 to 2,749 meters, with its highest point at Tinjure. It features diverse ecosystems, including broadleaf forests, subtropical pine forests, and alpine meadows.
The sanctuary is rich in flora and fauna, hosting species like red pandas, Himalayan brown bears, barking deer, yellow-throated martens, and takins. Birdwatchers can spot hill partridges, satyr tragopans, fire-tailed myzornis, and rufous-headed hornbills.
