Getolav Bird Habitat in Dausa, Rajasthan, is a newly developed bird-watching area located about 200 meters from National Highway 11A Dausa-Lalsot Bypass and approximately 5 kilometers from the bus station or railway station. The habitat was created through local conservation efforts, including rainwater storage under the Mukhyamantri Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan.
It is home to around 120 bird species, including 35 migratory birds such as Isabelline Shrike, Great White Pelicans, Dalmatian Pelicans, River Tern, Northern Shoveler, Black-tailed Godwit, Greylag Goose, Ruff, Little Cormorant, Purple Heron, Indian Spot-billed Duck, Grey Heron, Little Ringed Plover, Little Grebe, Black-headed Ibis, Eurasian Coot, Purple Swamphen, Pied Kingfisher, and Sarus Crane.
The site offers stunning sunrise and sunset views, making it a peaceful retreat for nature lovers. In February 2017, the Dausa Bird Festival was organized by Rajasthan Tourism, attracting wildlife and bird enthusiasts from across the country and abroad.
