Dausa district is a district located in the state of Rajasthan, India. It is situated in the eastern part of the state and is approximately 55 kilometers away from the capital city, Jaipur. Dausa district covers an area of about 3,432 square kilometers and is divided into six tehsils (administrative subdivisions): Dausa, Lalsot, Baswa, Sikrai, Mahwa, and Lawan.
The district is known for its rich historical and cultural heritage. It is home to various historical sites and monuments, including the famous Mehandipur Balaji Temple, which is a renowned Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The temple attracts a large number of devotees from all over the country.
