Gohad Fort, located in Gohad city of Bhind district, Madhya Pradesh, was built in 1505 by Rana Singhandev II, the Jat ruler of the Gohad State. The fort is strategically positioned on a bend of the Vaisali River, which was shaped to form a semi-circular defense around the fort's circular walls, stretching up to 5 kilometers.
