The Jang-e-Azadi Memorial in Jalandhar, Punjab, is a significant museum and memorial dedicated to the sacrifices made by the Punjabi community during the Indian independence movement.
Located in Kartarpur, near the Jalandhar-Amritsar highway, the memorial spans over 25 acres and features various galleries, an open-air theatre, a movie hall, an amphitheatre, and a library. The architecture of the memorial is designed by renowned architect Raj Rewal and includes a 45-meter high tower called Shaheed-e-Minar (Martyrs' Minaret).
The galleries showcase different movements of the freedom struggle, and there's also a 3D movie and a laser show using water curtain projection techniques.
