Kolumban Samadhi, also known as Kolumban Smarakam, is a memorial dedicated to Chemban Kolumban, a revered Adivasi leader. His significant contribution came in 1922 when he identified the ideal location for the Idukki Dam between the Kuravan and Kurathi Hills.
This discovery laid the foundation for the Idukki Hydroelectric Project, Kerala's largest hydroelectric project.
