Kumaraparvatha, also known as Pushpagiri, is the second highest peak in the Kodagu (Coorg) district and the sixth highest peak in Karnataka. It is located in the Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary, near the border of Dakshina Kannada and Kodagu districts. The peak stands at an elevation of 1,712 meters (5,617 feet) and offers breathtaking views of the Western Ghats.
The Kumaraparvatha Trek is one of the most challenging treks in Karnataka, covering a distance of about 22 kilometers and usually done over two days. The trek starts from Kukke Subramanya and passes through dense forests, grasslands, and a waterfall, offering a variety of landscapes and experiences.
