The Lakshmana Temple is a stunning example of Chandela architecture and is located in Khajuraho, Chhatarpur district, Madhya Pradesh. Built around 930-950 CE by Yashovarman, the temple is dedicated to Vaikuntha Vishnu, an aspect of Lord Vishnu. It is part of the Khajuraho Group of Monuments, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The temple is known for its intricate carvings and sculptures, including divine figures, couples, and erotic scenes. The central sanctum features a three-headed and four-armed sculpture of Vaikuntha Vishnu, with the central head being human, and the other two heads being a boar (Varaha) and a lion (Narasimha).
