Mount Abu is the only hill station in Rajasthan, located in the Aravalli Range in Sirohi district near the Gujarat border. It is situated on a rocky plateau about 22 kilometers long and 9 kilometers wide, with an elevation of approximately 1,722 meters. Known as an oasis in the desert, Mount Abu offers a cool climate, lush green forests, rivers, lakes, and waterfalls which contrast with the surrounding arid plains.

The area is renowned for its religious significance with numerous Hindu and Jain temples, including the famous Dilwara Temples known for their exquisite marble carvings. Popular attractions include Nakki Lake, Achalgarh Fort, and the Guru Shikhar peak, the highest point in the Aravalli range.
