Mount Harriet National Park, also known as Mount Manipur National Park, is a stunning natural reserve located in South Andaman, near Port Blair. Established in 1979, the park covers an area of 4,662 hectares and is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna.

The park is named after Harriet Tytler, the wife of a British army officer who served as the Superintendent of the Convict Settlement at Port Blair in the 1860s. The park is known for its rich biodiversity, including species like the Andaman wild pig, saltwater crocodile, turtles, and robber crabs.

It's also a butterfly hotspot, with many beautiful species fluttering around the park. The park's highest peak, Mount Harriet, stands at 383 meters and offers breathtaking views of Port Blair, Havelock Island, and Ross Island. The park is a popular spot for trekking, bird watching, and nature walks, providing visitors with an opportunity to experience the natural beauty of the Andaman Islands.
