Nagalpur Lake is an artificial lake located in the Nagalpur neighborhood of Mehsana city in Gujarat. Covering about 7.4 acres, it receives inflows mainly from stormwater and treated wastewater. Although a development project for the lake as a public space has been proposed, including plans for a garden, children's park, and improved drainage, the work had not yet started as of mid-2023.
The local municipality and Gujarat government have allocated funds for its development under the Amrit Lake scheme, aiming to enhance its infrastructure and beautification. Once completed, the project will include a compound wall, pathways, green spaces, and sports facilities, planned using ecological methods to support local flora and fauna.
The lake is part of Mehsana’s efforts to create more community-oriented green spaces amid urban growth.
