Nal Sarovar Bird Sanctuary, located near Ahmedabad in Gujarat, is a breathtaking wetland ecosystem that serves as a haven for migratory birds. The shallow lake, dotted with small islands, provides an ideal habitat for these birds, making it a paradise for birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts. Declared a bird sanctuary in 1969, Nal Sarovar has since been recognized for its ecological significance, earning the Ramsar Convention designation in 2012.
