Oorakam Hill, also known as Oorakam Mala, is a picturesque hill range located in the Malappuram district of Kerala. Situated between Nediyiruppu and Kannamangalam villages, Oorakam Hill is approximately 6 kilometers from the Malappuram-Parappanangadi state highway.
At around 2000 feet above sea level, the hill offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding areas, including a distant view of the Calicut International Airport.
One of the main attractions is the ancient Jain temple at the summit, believed to be over 2000 years old, making it one of the oldest temples in Kerala.
