The Renukeshwar Mahadev Mandir is located in Renukoot, Sonbhadra district, Uttar Pradesh. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is situated next to the Rihand River, also known as the Renu River, from which the temple gets its name. It was built by the Birla Group in 1972.
The temple features beautiful stone carvings, including a depiction of the Sun god on a chariot at the main entrance and elephants on either side of the second gate. The temple grounds also include garden fountains and a large statue of Nandi, the beloved devotee of Lord Shiva.
