Samiti Lake, also known as Bunmoten Choo in the Sikkimese language, is a beautiful alpine glacial lake located in the West Sikkim district of Sikkim, India. Situated at an elevation of 4,200 to 4,300 meters (13,700 feet), the lake is nestled in the Onglakthang Valley near the base of the Pandim and Kangchenjunga mountains.
The lake is considered sacred by the local residents and is a popular stopping point for trekkers on their way to the Goechala Pass. The emerald-green turquoise waters and the surrounding rhododendron forests make it a picturesque spot for photography and camping.
