The Sharavathi Railway Bridge is a significant structure located south of Honnavar in Uttara Kannada, Karnataka. Completed in 1994, the bridge carries the Konkan Railway over the Sharavathi River. It is the longest railway bridge in Karnataka, with a total length of 2,060 meters (6,760 feet).
The bridge features 55 spans of 33 meters and 11 spans of 22 meters, supported by cast-in-situ R.C.C. bored piles for piers and abutments. The superstructure consists of a single post-tensioned box girder for the 33-meter spans and three precast pretensioned I girders for the 22-meter spans.
