The State Gallery of Art in Hyderabad, Telangana, is a prominent cultural institution dedicated to promoting arts and crafts. Located at Road No. 1, Kavuri Hills, Madhapur, Hyderabad, the gallery was established in 2004 and has since hosted numerous art exhibitions, workshops, demo-lectures, art talks, and film screenings.
It is the largest gallery in Asia, featuring ten galleries, an auditorium with a seating capacity of 180, and six guest rooms for visiting artists.
The gallery supports local artists and artisans by organizing various events, including painting and sculpture exhibitions, art camps, and international artist residencies. It also hosts annual events such as the Art Mela, Ganesha Painting Exhibition, Telangana Formation Day Celebrations, Bathukamma Floral Festival, and the Indian Photography Festival.
