The peak is known for its steep and challenging climbing routes, making it a favorite among experienced mountaineers. The first successful ascent of Tirsuli was made on October 9, 1966, by an Indian team led by Chanchal Kumar Mitra. The team ascended the east face of the southeast ridge and then took the southeast ridge to the top.
The peak offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and is a popular destination for high-altitude treks and climbs.
