Uppali Buruz, also known as Upli Burj or Hyder Burj, is a historical watchtower located within the Bijapur Fort in Vijayapura, Karnataka. Constructed around 1584 by Hyder Khan, a commander in the Adil Shahi army, this cylindrical tower stands at a height of 24 meters (80 feet).
The structure features a winding staircase that allows visitors to climb to the top, where two massive cannons are placed.
