The fort is made of granite blocks and features watchtowers, weapon rooms, and resting areas.
Spread across 3.5 acres, Vattakottai Fort offers stunning views of the sea on one side and the Western Ghats on the other. A unique feature near the fort is the black sand beach, adding to its charm.
