The Vikramaditya The Great Memorial Statue is a magnificent 30-foot brass statue of the legendary emperor Vikramaditya, located at Vikram Teela behind the Mahakal Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. The statue was created by renowned sculptor Mahendra Kodwani and was unveiled in 2016.
It was commissioned by the Ujjain Municipal Corporation and the Simhastha Preparation Committee at a cost of Rs. 1 crore (US$140,000).
The statue depicts Vikramaditya sitting on his throne, surrounded by his ministers and advisors, symbolizing his strength and wisdom.
