Amroha, also known as J.P. Nagar, is a district in the state of Uttar Pradesh (UP), India. Located in the northern part of the country, Amroha is known for its historical significance and cultural heritage.

Amroha is situated on the banks of the River Sot, and it shares its borders with the districts of Moradabad and Bijnor. The district covers an area of approximately 2,556 square kilometers and is divided into three tehsils: Amroha, Dhanaura, and Hasanpur.
