Churu is a district located in the state of Rajasthan, India. It is situated in the western part of the state and is known for its desert landscape. Churu is the administrative headquarters of the district and is one of the major cities in the region.
The district of Churu is surrounded by Bikaner District to the northwest, Jhunjhunu District to the northeast, and Sikar District to the southeast. It shares its southern border with the state of Haryana. The district covers an area of approximately 16,830 square kilometers.
