Erode is a district located in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is situated in the western part of Tamil Nadu and is bordered by the districts of Coimbatore to the west, Tiruppur to the north, Namakkal to the northeast, Karur to the east, and Salem to the south. The district headquarters is the city of Erode.
Erode District covers an area of approximately 5,692 square kilometers and is divided into five taluks: Erode, Gobichettipalayam, Bhavani, Sathyamangalam, and Perundurai. These taluks consist of numerous towns and villages.
