Faridabad is a district located in the state of Haryana in northern India. It is one of the major industrial hubs in the state and is a part of the National Capital Region (NCR), which includes the neighboring cities of Delhi, Noida, and Gurugram.

Geographically, Faridabad is situated in the southernmost part of Haryana and shares its borders with Delhi on its north, Palwal district on the south, Gurugram district on the west, and Uttar Pradesh on the east. The district covers an area of approximately 741 square kilometers.
