Hingoli district is located in the state of Maharashtra, India. It is situated in the Marathwada region of the state. Hingoli town is the administrative headquarters of the district.
Hingoli district is bordered by Nanded district to the east, Parbhani district to the south, Washim district to the west, and Akola district to the north. The district spans an area of approximately 4,526 square kilometers.
