Mancherial is a district located in the state of Telangana, India. It is situated in the northern part of the state and is known for its rich coal reserves. The district headquarters is also named Mancherial, which serves as a major urban center in the region.
Mancherial district is bordered by the districts of Adilabad, Komaram Bheem, Jagtial, Peddapalli, and Bhupalpally. The district spans across an area of approximately 2,175 square kilometers and is administratively divided into two revenue divisions: Mancherial and Bellampalli.
