Pherzawl is a district located in the state of Manipur, India. It was officially inaugurated as the 11th district of Manipur on December 27, 2016. Pherzawl district is situated in the southern part of Manipur and shares its borders with Mizoram and Myanmar.
The district is named after the Pherzawl village, which is the administrative headquarters. Pherzawl is predominantly inhabited by various tribes, including the Zou, Hmar, Paite, and Simte communities. These tribes have their unique cultural traditions, languages, and customs.
