Pudukkottai is a district located in the southern state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is situated in the central part of the state and is bordered by the districts of Tiruchirappalli, Thanjavur, Sivaganga, and Ramanathapuram. The district headquarters is also named Pudukkottai.
