Tirupathur is a district located in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is situated in the southern part of the state and is known for its rich cultural heritage and historical significance. The district covers an area of approximately 2,667 square kilometers and is surrounded by Vellore, Krishnagiri, and Dharmapuri districts.
Tirupathur district is divided into two revenue divisions: Tirupathur and Vaniyambadi. The district headquarters is located in the town of Tirupathur. The district is further divided into seven taluks, namely Tirupathur, Vaniyambadi, Ambur, Natrampalli, Alangayam, Pernambut, and Gudiyatham.
