All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Nagpur (AIIMS Nagpur), located at Plot No. 2, Sector 20 in the MIHAN Special Economic Zone of Nagpur, Maharashtra, is a premier public medical school and hospital established in 2018 as one of the Phase-IV AIIMS under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), mentored by AIIMS Bhopal.
Spread across a 150-acre campus, it provides comprehensive healthcare through 820 functional beds including 80 ICUs, 19 modular operation theatres, OPD/IPD services handling over 21 lakh visits and 80,000 admissions, and super-specialties like cardiology, nephrology, oncology, and pulmonology, with achievements including 41 renal transplants, bone marrow transplants, and advanced procedures like angioplasties.
The institute offers MBBS for 125 students annually, postgraduate MD/MS in 26 specialties, DM/MCh in 12 super-specialties, BSc/MSc Nursing, paramedical courses, and PhD programs across 45 departments, emphasizing research with over 700 publications, ICMR-funded projects, and centers for sickle cell disease and rare diseases.
