Bagore-ki-Haveli is an 18th-century mansion located on the waterfront of Lake Pichola near Gangaur Ghat in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Built by Amar Chand Badwa, the then prime minister of the Mewar kingdom, it was later expanded by Maharaj Shakti Singh of Bagore.
The haveli has over 100 rooms showcasing traditional Rajasthani architecture with intricate mirror work, frescoes, and royal artifacts such as costumes, jewelry, manuscripts, and paintings. Visitors can explore the royal ladies’ quarters, courtyards, and beautifully decorated rooms. The haveli also hosts the popular Dharohar Dance Show in the evenings, featuring traditional Rajasthani folk dance, music, and puppet performances.
Restored by the West Zone Cultural Centre, Bagore-ki-Haveli offers a rich cultural experience and panoramic views of Lake Pichola and the City Palace, making it a must-visit heritage site in Udaipur.
