Barandari Garden
The Baradari Garden in Patiala, Punjab, is a beautiful and historic garden located just outside Sheranwala Gate in the north of old Patiala city. It was laid out under Maharaja Rajindera Singh in 1876 and is known for its extensive collection of rare trees, shrubs, and colonial buildings.
The garden features a marble statue of Maharaja Rajindera Singh and the unique Fern House, a replica of the one in Calcutta. The garden is a popular spot for visitors, offering well-maintained pathways, seating areas, and a variety of flora and fauna.
It also includes the Rajindra Tank, a large water body named after the emperor.
