Bawangaja, also known as Chool Giri, is a renowned Jain pilgrimage center located in the Barwani district of Madhya Pradesh. The main attraction of Bawangaja is the world's tallest monolithic statue of Lord Rishabhadeva, the first Jain Tirthankara. The statue stands at an impressive height of 84 feet (26 meters) and was carved out of a single stone in the early 12th century.
The site is situated in the Satpura Range, about 8 kilometers from Barwani town. It is a place of great religious significance, with several Jain temples dating back to the 15th century.
