The Bhavishya Badri Temple is a sacred Hindu shrine located in the Subain village of Chamoli district, Uttarakhand. It is one of the Panch Badri temples, which are a group of five holy shrines dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
The temple is situated at an altitude of 2,744 meters (9,003 feet) and is surrounded by the majestic Himalayan mountain range. According to Hindu legend, Bhavishya Badri is considered the "Badrinath of the future."
It is believed that at the end of the Kali Yuga (the current age), the Badrinath Temple will become inaccessible, and Lord Vishnu will reappear at Bhavishya Badri.
The temple is dedicated to Lord Narasimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu with a lion's head. The temple is accessible by a motorable road up to a certain point, after which visitors have to trek for about 6 kilometers through dense forests of rhododendron, deodar, oak, and pine trees.
