Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Ranchi, Jharkhand, is a field hockey stadium established in 1990 and renovated in 2009. It is located in the Morabadi area of Ranchi and has a seating capacity of around 5,000. The stadium serves as the home ground for the Hockey India League team Ranchi Rays (previously Ranchi Rhinos).
Built at a cost of approximately Rs 7 crore, it features imported German astro turf, floodlights for day and night matches, a large screen for live telecasts, and an electronic scoreboard. The stadium was inaugurated by the then Governor of Jharkhand K. Sankaranarayanan as part of the preparations for the 34th National Games held in Jharkhand in 2009.
It is among the prominent hockey venues in eastern India with well-maintained facilities supporting both national and international matches.
