Burlton Park, also known as Gandhi Stadium or B. S. Bedi Stadium, is located in Jalandhar, Punjab. Constructed in 1955, it has hosted one Test match and three One Day Internationals (ODIs).
The stadium has a capacity of 16,000 and was the home ground for the Punjab and North Zone domestic cricket teams. Currently, Burlton Park is undergoing reconstruction to become an international-level stadium.
The project includes developing a world-class cricket stadium, a hockey stadium, and various other sporting facilities such as football, swimming, badminton, basketball, volleyball, squash, handball, netball, shooting range, skating rink, jogging and cycling tracks, billiards, snooker, judo, gymnasium, and more.
Moreover, there are plans for a five-star hotel, spa, health club, restaurant, bar, lounges, meeting halls, shops, and commercial centers.
