The Chand Minar, also known as the Tower of the Moon, is a 30-meter high tower located in Daulatabad, near Aurangabad, Maharashtra. It was built in 1435 by Ala-ud-din Bahmani to celebrate his victory over the fort. The tower is divided into four storeys and features 24 chambers. At the base of the tower, there is a small mosque.
The Chand Minar is an outstanding example of Islamic architecture and is covered with Persian blue tiles, making it a visually stunning structure.
