The population includes males, females, and young crocodiles, with periodic introduction of new pairs from other breeding centers to maintain genetic diversity. Visitors can observe the crocodiles from a viewing mound within the pond.
The centre faces challenges such as limited breeding area, predation of young crocodiles, and unsuitable climate conditions, but remains one of the key crocodile conservation sites in India. It is located on the Kurukshetra-Pehowa Road near the Bhureeshwar Temple and is about 13 km from the old Kurukshetra Bus Stand.
