The lake is famous for its crystal-clear cobalt blue waters and is surrounded by snow-capped peaks like Hanuman Tibba, Deo Tibba, and Indrasan, offering breathtaking panoramic views.

It has a depth of 3 to 4 meters and is believed by locals to have therapeutic waters that can heal various ailments. The lake is a popular trekking destination, accessible by a short trek from Rohtang Pass or nearby Marhi, and is part of the "3 Lakes Trek" along with Beas Kund and Brighu Lake.

The best time to visit is from May to November, as the lake remains frozen and inaccessible during winters due to heavy snowfall. Dashair Lake provides a serene and picturesque escape for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.
