Dermal Fort is a hill fort located about 201 kilometers from Nashik in Maharashtra, nestled in the Galna hill range. The fort sits at an elevation of approximately 3,700 feet and is part of a line of four forts along this range including Pisola, Kankrala, and Galna forts.
The trek to Dermal Fort is relatively easy and takes about two hours to reach the top. Although it is less frequently visited by trekkers, the fort offers spacious grounds with remnants of old structures, including water tanks and a unique semi-circular bastion called Rudrabhishan Bhairavakada.
Visitors can also find several water tanks carved into the hillside. The fort is noted for its peaceful atmosphere and is near other forts like Pisola, adding interest for history and trekking enthusiasts.
